Shouldn’t this film be free? Paying the artists, interpreters, transcribers and team.
We are determined to make the film as accessible as possible to audiences around the world, while being able to pay the artists and team who have worked so hard to make Prison Songs possible.
We believe that people and organisations should pay according to their means. That’s why the film is available through various media and on a sliding scale, with rates that work out as low as $1.60 per person for larger screenings. This allows grassroots groups to either put on screenings for a low rate, or to sell tickets and use the film as a fundraising tool.
